On Saturday March 26, 2016, the Dhammakaya International Meditation Center in Bavaria, Königsbrunn city, Germany hosted a German One-Day-Meditation retreat for those interested in meditation. The activities were arranged by the Meditation Center and received great interest from many locals.  There were approximately 40 native German attendees. The volunteers of the Meditation Center, mostly comprised of Thai memners of the meditation center, helped to support the event from start to finish.

The German One-Day Meditation Retreat at the Dhammakaya Meditation Center went from 09.30 until 16.30. The attendees were taught the Dhammakya Meditation method with a guest lecture by cardiologist Dr. Yunni Edriani. In addition, the attendees participated in other relaxing activities like Yoga to stretch the body, bubble blowing (to help visualize the crystal ball during meditation), and writing prayers and attaching it to balloons. The attendees also learned about Thai culture and customs, and had a chance to try deliciously-prepared Thai food that volunteers prepared for the event.
