Chinese Religious Leaders Visited Dhammakaya Temple

On Wednesday April 6, 2016, Chinese Religious Culture Research Institute, YONG CHING Temple and its branches (11 total organizations from China) led by Most Venerable Heangchung and the other leaders (110 total people) visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya.

After watching an introduction video to Wat Phra Dhammakaya and joining the Pubbapeta Bali : Dedication of merits to passed ones ceremony at Master Nun Chand Khonnokyoong’s Dining Hall, they had a chance to learn about the Thai Buddhist Culture and meditated at  Phramongkolthepmuni’s Memorial Hall.

In the afternoon they listened to dharma taught by Venerable Paipoom Vijjubunyo on the topic of “How to train staffs and laymen of Wat Phra Dhammakaya,” which interested everyone.  They asked for the Dhamma media in order to bring it back as instruction tool.

After that Venerable Phravidesadhammaporn, Director of the Foreign Affairs Department, greeted the abbot and the all laymen staff.  He answered their questions, which included adult and youth trainings, meditation courses, temple tidiness, etc. Lastly they got to listen to dharma and received souvenirs.  Before leaving, the Chinese group went to pay homage to the Dhammakaya Cetiya.  They were happy because they got to make merit and listen to dharma.  They thanked the teaching monks and staff for the warm welcome.
