On Saturday, 9th September 2017 many locals gathered along both sides of the road in downtown Osseo for the annual Osseo Lion parade. This year marked the 41st anniversary of the Osseo Lions Roar events.
The beautiful parade captured many people’s attention, especially an eye-catching presentation from the representative of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Minnesota. Furthermore, many locals were interested in joining the meditation course.
At this lovely event there was a special area provided for Wat Phra Dhammakaya to display an exhibition on Luang Pu’s biography, the temple’s history, and the temple’s past events.
Monks and staff arranged a meditation booth for everyone to meditate in,along with chanting Samma-arahang. The exhibition received wide attention from over hundreds of visitors and increased their motivation for meditation.
