Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department and assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, stated that regarding the flash flood on 26 August 2026 in Dhading district of Bagmati province, Venerable Phrakhrubaidika Thavorn Thavaro, assistant director of Buddhist Propagation Department of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and president of Dhammakaya Morality Promotion Center in Nepal, together with representatives of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Dhammakaya Foundation, Dhammakaya Morality Promotion Center and international Buddhist organizations from various countries, visited the affected areas to distribute the relief supplies to the flood victims.
1,600 relief supply bags and other essentials including rice, cooking oil, salt, clothes and solar panels were distributed to the flood victims to relieve their suffering from the flood. Additionally, the monastic requisites were offered to the monastic communities in Nepal.
