On Saturday August 27, 2016, the Dhammakaya Meditation Center, D.C. organized an English meditation class. In the morning, the teaching monk gave an introduction to meditation followed by the attendees pledging the verse to offer midday meals to the monks.
The afternoon started off with a guided meditation session. Once the meditation was over, the teaching monk asked about their meditation experiences, where many of the attendees had good meditation experiences and saw a bright light within. Everyone who came to take part in this meditation session was very happy and satisfied with their experiences.
