Dhammakaya Temple organizes its 9th Dhammayatra Project completely ONLINE so Buddhists throughout the world can join and rejoice in all the activities through ZOOM application.

 

Ven. Phrakrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, Director of the Communication Department, stated: “During the 9th Dhammayatra Project in homage to the Great Master Phramongkolthepmuni at the Dhammakaya Temple (Pathumthani) from 6-31 January 2021, all 1250 Dhammayatra monks will strictly comply to the protective measures against Covid-19 as they carry out their daily pilgrimage routine. Temple devotees in Thailand and abroad will be able to join the ceremonies completely online via the ZOOM application.”

 

All the activities of the daily monastic routine are carried out entirely within the confines of the Dhammakaya Temple. These activities include meditation practice, morning and evening chanting, listening to Dhamma talks, chores, walking pilgrimage, and lantern lighting and floating lantern releasing ceremonies in homage of the Great Master Phramongkolthepmuni (Sodh Candasaro) and to commemorate the seven locations significant to the Great Master. All lay followers are asked to join these events online from their homes.

 

Ven. Phrakrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso added: “Everyone is invited to join and rejoice in the merit from the activities of the pilgrim monks through ZOOM. These activities include the lantern lighting ceremony on 6, 13, 17, 21, 24, 28 & 31 January 2021 from 17.30-19.30 pm, and the Dhammayatra Procession on 9,16, 23, 26, 27, 30 January from 15.30-17.30 pm. Then on the evening of 19 January, there will be a special ceremony to honor Master Nun Chand Khonnokyoong and celebrate the completion of the Dhammacakka recitation goal. All online participants are kindly requested to be logged in to the ZOOM Live Broadcast Rooms at link dmc.tv/2564 one hour prior to the start of every event and to wear white attire.”
