On 1 November 2020, the Dhammakaya Temple organized its monthly ceremony to offer sustenance to the Buddhas (held on the first Sunday of each month) at the Grand Dhammakaya Meditation Hall. The afternoon ceremonies included the 152nd offering of basic necessities to the 323 temples in the four southern provinces and the 117th presentation of scholarship funds to teachers in the South.

The ceremony to offer necessities to the 323 southern temples and to dedicate merit to deceased loved ones was first organized on 7 June 2005 at Mujarintawapi Vihara Temple in Pattani Province. 2020 marks its 16th consecutive year and 152nd time this event has been held, with more than 303 million baht raised. This event will continue to be organized until peace is restored in that region. This year also marks the 13th year that scholarship funds have been presented to teachers in the South. To this day, over 39,000 scholarships amounting to more than 80 million baht have been awarded.
