International Dhammadayada Ordination Program 2013 Schedule

The Foreign Affairs of Dhammakaya Temple has arranged the International Dhammadayada Ordination Program since 2003. There are over 400 trainees from 35 countries around the world. There are more interested people to participate in this program and some of them do not disrobe because they want to study more. You can see that there are more foreigners interested to study Buddhism. Today, there are over 30 foreign monks, from 20 countries, studying Dhamma at Dhammakaya Temple. They came from Cambodia, China, Congo, Taiwan, Nepal, Belgium, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Burma, Lao, Japan, Germany, Sri Lanka, USA, Switzerland, Britain, Australia, Italy, and India.
Qualification
1. Real men (not allow for homosexual ones), 20 – 55 years old
2. Can communicate in English
3. Be healthy and not sick of the psychosis or dangerous diseases such as the infective diseases, AIDS, etc. and be not addicted to the tobacco, alcohol and all kinds of drugs.
4. Content with a non-vegetarian diet and whatever accommodation is provided by the training supervisors.
5. Free of commitments which might interrupt the course of training.
Application Requirements
1. Two recent 2″ passport-style photographs of the application.
2. Photocopies of applicant’s identification documents and passport.
3. 4,500 Baht for application fee.
4. Medical examination record with physician’s statement of guarantee.
