Dhammakaya Meditation Center of Mongolia arranged the Ceremony to Offer Sustenance to the Lord Buddha on Sunday September 2, 2018. It rained in the morning, which made the atmosphere fresh and suitable for meditation.
Over 20 Mongolian laypeople joined this big-merit ceremony and brought their little children/grandchildren to practice the Buddhist Customs along with them.
The teaching monk led them to chant Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta and performed the Ceremony to Offer Sustenance to the Lord Buddha at the same time as other Dhammakaya centers worldwide.
The Mongolian laypeople chanted to worship the Triple Gems and meditated together in the peaceful atmosphere. Everybody prayed and meditated along with Luang Phaw Dhammajayo’s voice.
Even though they don’t understand the meaning, they could meditate well and still their minds. After that, they pledged the verse of offering meals to the monks, offered alms and meals to the monks and had lunch together. On that day, the Mongolian laypeople came to practice Buddhist Customs, which they had never done before so it was their big merit.
