The New Taipei City Buddhist Association celebrated the Buddha’s Birthday. The New Taipei City Buddhist Association, Taiwan, organized the Conclusion of the Buddha’s Birthday Celebration by inviting associate organizations to join a meeting to sum up the activities of celebrating the Buddha’s Birthday of New Taipei City, Taiwan, in 2017. They also discussed planning such activities in the following years.
On this occasion, Venerable Jing Yao, the association president, presented a plaque of appreciation to Wat Phra Dhammakaya for supporting the activities and setting up a booth to give knowledge of Theravada Buddhism in the Vesak Festival as the representative of Theravada Buddhism.
Phramaha Thanut chedtadhammo, the Vice Abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Taipei, was the representative of Wat Phra Dhammakaya to receive this gesture of appreciation.
