On 12 October 2026, Venerable Phrathepwachiravethee, along with representatives of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and the Anam Nikaya denomination, participated in the cremation ceremony of Venerable Thich Tri Van, the father of Venerable Thích Trúc Thái Minh, abbot of Ba Vàng Pagoda in Vietnam.
This ceremony participation reflects the good relations between Thai and Vietnamese monastic communities through the great respect and affection for Buddhism.
During this moment of loss, the monastic community of Wat Phra Dhammakaya would like to express our deepest condolences and dedicate merit to the deceased. May the power of merit and the good deeds accumulated guide him to the blissful afterlife.
