The merit making of the 100th day of the Queen Mother’s passing at Wat Phra Dhammakaya

On 31 January 2026, by 07.00 am, at Kaew-Sa-Ra-Phad-Nuek 2 Meeting Hall of Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Pathum Thani province, Wat Phra Dhammakaya organized the merit-making ceremony of the 100th day of the Queen Mother’s passing. Most Venerable Phraratsuthidhammajarn, ecclesiastical chief of Pathum Thani province and abbot of Wat Prayoondhammaram, presided over the ceremony and Pathum Thani Governor Ekawit Meephian, together with Ms. Apisra Ket-In, district chief of Khlong Luang and Pol. Col. Taweesak Jindasak, deputy commander of Border Patrol Police Division 1, was the laypeople chairman. In this event, there were over 3,000 attendees who were government officials of local organizations, the group of teachers, students and managerial staff of educational institutions, laypeople of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and residents of khlong Luang district.

Most Venerable Phraratkittimethee, deputy ecclesiastical chief of Pathum Thani province and assistant abbot of Wat Khian Khet (a royal temple) and Most Venerable Phrakhruvijit Ar-Pha-Korn, ecclesiastical chief of Khlong Luang district and abbot of Wat Sawangphop led the chanting of  2,000 monks from the 14th Dhammayatra Project of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and the local temples of Khlong Luang district in order to dedicate merit to the Queen Mother. Venerable Phrakhrupaladrattanaveerawat, abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya also guided all attendees to do meditation. This event was broadcasted live worldwide via GBN by DMC for the online participants of Wat Phra Dhammakaya in the foreign countries. Besides, the merit making of the 14th Dhammayatra Project along the 7 memorial places of the Great Master Phramongkolthepmuni in 5 provinces was also dedicated to Her Majesty.

This event was organized according to the resolution of Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand and Interior Ministry in order to express gratitude and dedicate merit to the Queen Mother with the determination to carry on Her Majesty’s intention to prolong the life of Buddhism for the prosperity of the country and Thai society.
