The royal trophies of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, presented to winners of the 43rd IMEC

On 20 December 2025, at Kaew-Sa-Ra-Phad-Nuek 2 Assembly Hall, Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Venerable Phrakhrusamu Thanin Punyanantho, assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and director of Global Youth Development Institute, presided over the Presentation Ceremony of the Royal Trophies of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for the 43rd International Morals and Ethics Contest (IMEC).

The 43rd International Morals and Ethics Contest (IMEC) is open to the group, having interest in Dhamma studies, including students of kindergarten school, primary school, secondary school and undergraduate level, soldiers, police, military nurses, teachers and personnel of educational institutions. The examination focuses on the Sutra of Auspiciousness and other Dhamma principles as the guidelines of examinees when they live their life in the right way. In 2025, there are 664,819 examinees from 3,269 educational institutions across the country. There are 3 rounds of examinations; 1. Qualifying round  2. Provincial final round 3. National final round.

Before taking the test, all examinees stood in silent tribute for the passing of the Queen Mother. The International Morals and Ethics Contest (IMEC) is successfully completed with the collaboration of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Dhammakaya Foundation, educational institutions and government & private sectors for the purpose of uplifting ethical and moral standard of the youth, developed as the quality personnel of the country.
