On 3 May 2025, Pathum Thani Governor Somkid Jan-Ta-Ma-Ruek presided over “Laywomen Training Program”; the meditation and morality training program for laywomen in order to dedicate this merit to the King on Coronation Day 2025 (4 May 2025) at the Meditation Hall of the 115th Anniversary of Khun Yai Ajarn Building, Wat Phra Dhammakaya. Ms. Apisra Ket-In, district chief of Khlong Luang, reported the objectives of this program, which was attended by government officials, district headmen, village headmen, community leaders and local residents of Khlong Luang and nearby districts. There were 410 participants, joining this program.
In this event, Most Venerable Phraprom Dilok, board member of Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand and abbot of Wat Sam Phraya, was the preceptor. Most Venerable Phrakhruvijit Arphakorn-ecclesiastical chief of Khlong Luang district and abbot of Wat Sawangphob, Most Venerable Phramahasurat Chatchayayo-ecclesiastical chief of Khong Si district and abbot of Wat Mongkolpugaram, Most Venerable Phrakrupalad Rattanaveerawat-abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Most Venerable Phraratvitheswachiramethee-abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya-Scotland and assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya also joined this event. All attendees jointly meditated and dedicated the merit to HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on Coronation Day 2025.
“Laywomen Training Prgram” was organized to celebrate the auspicious occasion on Coronation Day 2025 and dedicate the merit to the King. It was held during 2-4 May 2025 at Wat Phra Dhammakaya with the coordination of monastic community in Khlong Luang, the “Rak Bavorn Rak Sil Ha” club under the patronage of Most Venerable Phradhamrattanaporn, Morality Training Center of Pathum Thani province and the organization networks of “Bavorn” (Home-Temples-Government Sectors). This program was supported by Wat Phra Dhammakaya on trainers, food & beverage and training venue.
