Te Thhai Buddhist Meditation Center in Japan was invited by Mr. Anomoto and his family to teach meditation to the Japanese locals in Hamamatsu city, Shizuoka Prefecture on Sunday September 25, 2016. Phra Tissaro taught about “The Relaxation.” he stated that, “if you want to meditate well, you should know how to balance yourself, neither too loose nor tense. You should know how to relax and let the stories in your life go, adjust and comfort your body and emotion. After that, the teaching monk arranged 2 sessions of meditation; it took 15 minutes for the first one and 30 minutes for the second one. Then, they discussed about the meditation results which interested everybody very much. They revealed that they preferred to have a shorter meditation session before the longer session because they could adjust their bodies and minds in the first session. So the result in the second session was better; they were more relaxed, comfortable, peaceful and calm. After that, they got to have a Q&A session with the teaching monk which was very interesting.
