Dhammachai Institute (DCI) arranged the Ceremony of Paying Respect to Teachers 2013 at SPD7 Room in the International Dhammakaya Meditation Hall, Dhammakaya Temple, Pathum Thani province. There are 120 undergraduate student monks and 9 graduate student monks and 35 student laypeople. Phramaha Dr. Somchai Thanavuddho, assistant abbot of Dhammakaya Temple, kindly was the President of the ceremony. Phravibhakaya Thananando, the DCI student representative, delivered the report.
After that, it was the Ceremony of Worshipping the Great Masters and the DCI student representatives offered bowls of flower to the Monastic President and the teaching monks. The Monastic President gave a speech that “I congratulate with you, all the student monks. I would like the students to self-cultivate every aspect and spend this time and good occasion to study best. You have a good chance to study Dhamma both pariyati and paṭipatti while others don’t have. I would like you to spread Buddhism both in Thailand and oversea. Please know that you are important and the world is waiting for you. You are Crystal Dhamma Warriors who bring peace and happiness to the world.”
