The Japanese Meditation Village, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma in Japan, arranged abasic meditation class for locals from October 20 – 22, 2017 (2 nights and 3 days).  There were 8 meditation sessions in all. There were 14 Japanese participants and the teaching monk were Venerable Dr. Chattapong Katapunyo, Venerable Thanawut Tissaro, and Venerable Chaiwat Khunawuttano.

All of them participated in the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta Chanting Ceremony, exercising, Breakfast Offering Ceremony, meditation, and listening to dharma sermons.

Each attendant had a good meditation experience. They felt comfortable, were able to still their minds and received inner peace meditating in the natural environment.

All participants understood the dharma principles more, made an intention to meditate continuously at home and intended to come back to meditate at the Thai Buddhist Meditation Center of Japan further.
