Comparative Religion Class, Chicago, USA

About 20 teachers and students from the Comparative Religion Class at Wilbur Wright College went to Meditation Center of Chicago (M.C.C.) to study Buddhism on Tuesday October 24, 2017. The temple arranged activities for students to participate in and understand the Buddhist principles and practice which were giving, keeping precepts and meditation.

We began with showing the monastic necessities which the monks use in their daily life.  After that, the students joined the morning alms round and meditation led by Phrakhrubhavanavidesa.

Finally, the monk gave them a chance to ask questions about meditation, the Monks and Buddhist Practices, which interested the students very much.  Many of them are impressed and intended to come back to meditate at the temple in the future.
