Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation cooperated with a local government sector to provide ready-to-eat food, snacks and drinks to traffic police and rescue volunteers during Songkran Festival 2025.
On 11 April 2025, at the traffic police booth under Khlong Luang elevated road, Venerable Phramaha Nopporn Punyachayo (scholar of Pali level 9), assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, together with Mr. Ong-Ard Dhammanitra – spokesperson of Wat Phra Dhammakaya’s devotees and Ms. Apisra Ket-In, district chief of Khlong Luang, handed ready-to-eat food, snacks and drinks to traffic police and rescue volunteers. This activity is organized to encourage all government officials and rescue volunteers, facilitating the heavy traffic for a large number of travelers during Songkran Festival 2025.
