The Indonesian government, in collaboration with the Union of Buddhist Monks of Indonesia, organized the “500 Statues of the Triple Gem” project at Borobudur Temple.

Venerable Professor (Doctorate) Rajaborasapasarama, Head of the 8th Line of the Thai Buddhist Mission in Indonesia-Africa and a member of the Senate Committee of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, traveled to act as a spiritual instructor for 500 Indonesians participating in the training program at Borobudur Temple. The Indonesian government collaborated with the Thai Buddhist Mission Union in Indonesia-Africa, the Association of Theravada Buddhism of Indonesia (MBMI), the Dhammakaya Foundation, and other network organizations to drive this initiative. Their goal is to revive Borobudur Temple as a spiritual center for Buddhists worldwide through the promotion of Buddhist activities over several years.
