The monks and novices who passed all levels of Pali studies received awards from Ecclesiastical Provincial Head of Pathumthani so as to encourage Pali students to pursue their studies.
On 13 October 2023, Most Venerable Phrarajsutthidhammajarn, the Ecclesiastical Provincial Head of Pathumthani, presided the awarding ceremony for the monks/novices who passed the 3rd, 6th and 9th levels of Pali studies for 2023 at the meditation hall of Wat Prayoonradhammaram, Lam Luk Ka district, Pathumthani province. This year, 62 monks/novices from the Dhamma Studies Institution of Wat Phra Dhammakaya received the awards and the number of monks/novices who achieved the 3rd, 6th and 9th levels of Pali studies is identified below.
- 3 monks/novices for the 9th level of Pali studies,
- 19 monks/novices for the 6th Pali studies level
- 40 monks/novices for the 3rd Pali studies level
From 1985 until now, the Dhamma Studies Institution of Wat Phra Dhammakaya has the total number of 4,836 Pali students who passed all levels of Pali studies (Level1-9) and they will be the knowledgeable heirs of Buddhism in the future.
