Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation hand out 2,200 bags of relief supplies to the flood victims in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and Sisaket Province.
On 30 September 2022, Venerable Phrakrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, Director of Communication Department, Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Venerable Theeraphat Kultheero, Coordination Head of Morality Promotion Centers as representatives of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation handed out 2200 relief supply bags to representatives of Morality Promotion Centers and Kallayanamitr Centers (1200 relief supply bags for Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and 1000 relief supply bags for Sisaket Province) in order to help those affected by the flood, caused by Tropical Depression Noru in central and north-eastern provinces of Thailand.
“As the heavy rain and the flood in many provinces brought about the difficulties in living, the lay people of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and Sisaket Province requested the assistance of relief supply bags, containing rice and dry food to relieve the living hardship of local people. To express our goodwill for those affected by the tropical depression to get through all difficulties, Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation together with their devotees arranged numerous bags of dry food, received from the almsgiving to the monks on the monthly first Sunday.”, said Venerable Phrakrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso.
