On 12 August 2022, Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Toshigi and International Meditation Center, Toshigi organized International Ordination Ceremony in honor of the 90th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
There were 15 ordinands from Thailand, England and Japan and Prakrupalad Suwattana Pothikhun (Phramaha Somchai Thanawuttho), the Abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Tokyo was the preceptor and more than 160 Japanese and Thai lay people joined this ordination ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.
After the ordination ceremony, all 15 monks would attend the 7-day training program of Dhamma studies and meditation practice.
