On Wednesday January 25, 2017, the Old Woking Cub Scouts came to visit Wat Phra Dhammakaya London. There were 22 scouts and 6 adults that came to learn about Buddism, the Thai culture, and meditation. The teaching monk and staff explained about the establishment of Wat Phra Dhammakaya London, basic Buddism, and basic meditation. Afterwards, the teaching monk took them on a temple tour and showed the the Buddism exhibition. They also got to learn about the act of giving by offering alms to the monk. The scouts were impressed with the activities that day.
