The Meditation Course for Beginners was held at Thai Buddhist Mediation Center in Japan on Saturday May 6, 2017. It interested many Japanese people who want to practice meditation and some participants are newcomers. This course was taught by Phra Maha Somkiat Punyatejo.
The teaching monk introduced the basic way to adjust body and mind by beginning with the relaxing meditation and teaching them to gradually still their mind. After that the teaching monk led them to meditate for 30 minutes. All participants relaxed and had good inner experience. They revealed that they were happy in joining this meditation course.
Before going home, they had Thai food with Thai participants, dedicated merit and received Pali blessings from the monks.
