First time in history: Dhammachai dhutanga will transport the Buddha’s Relics to the international Buddhist Park in Nong khai

The pilgrimage to transport the Buddha’s relics will pass through six provinces: Ayutthaya, Saraburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, and Nong Khai. Everyone will have a chance to pay reverence to the Buddha’s relics and over one thousand Dhutanga monks making the journey and help pave the pilgrimage route with marigold flower. Wednesday, 7th May 2014, Ayutthaya Province:

From 03:30 – 05:00 pm at Suwandararam Temple, along Uthong Rd., Naraesuan Rd., and Pa Maprao Rd. to Phra Srisanpetch Temple.

Reverence to the Buddha’s relics can be made at: Suwandararam Temple from 10:00 am – 03:00 pm and Ayutthaya Municipal Office from 06:00-10:00 pm.

Thursday, 8th May 2014, Saraburi Province:

From 03:45-05:05 pm at Saraburi Town Hall, traveling along 3014 St., Phaholyothin Rd., Pichainarongsongkram Rd., Sudbantat Rd., to Saraburi Irrigation Office.

Reverence to the Buddha’s relics can be made at: Saraburi Town Hall from 12:00-03:00 pm.

Lantern lighting ceremony: Taloi Cemetery of Phra Buddhabaht Temple at 04:00 pm.

Friday, 9th May 2024, Nakhon Ratchasima:

From 03.00-04.30 pm at Suranaree Stadium, traveling along Ratchadamnoen Rd., Chumphon Rd, Mahathai Rd., Manus Rd., Thanom Rd., and Prajakka Rd. to Thao Suranaree Monument.

Reverence to the Buddha’s relics can be made at: Thao Suranaree Monument from 09:30 am-02:30 pm, and Rajamangala University of Technology from 06.00-08.00 pm.

Saturday, 10th May 2014, Khon Kaen Province:

From 03:30-05:00 pm at Thanarak Monument Public Park, traveling along Srichant Rd., Ruengjit Rd., and Klangmueng Rd. to Khon Kaen Town Hall.

Reverence to the Buddha’s relics can be made at: Nhong Wang Temple from 08:00-10:30 am, Thanarak Public Park from 01:30-03:00 pm, and Khon Kaen Town Hall from 05:30-08:00 pm.

Sunday, 11th May 2014 Udon Thani Province:

From 3.10-5.30 at Banmargkaeng School, traveling along Tahan Rd., Posri Rd., Thongyai Rd., Prajaksilapakom Rd., and Adulyadej Rd. to Udon Pittayanukul School.

Reverence to the Buddha’s relics can be made at: Potisompon Temple from 8:00-10:30 am and Thung Sri Muang from 6.00-8.00 pm.

Monday, 12th May 2014, Nong Khai Province:

From 1.30-2.40 pm at the Municipal Sub-district 4 School, traveling along Mittraparp Rd., Jenjoptith Rd., and Prajaksilapakom Rd. to Po Chai Temple.

Reverence to the Buddha’s relics can be made at: Nong Khai Town Hall from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Po Chai Temple from 4:00-6:00 pm.

Tuesday, 13th May 2014, Nong Khai Province:

From 08.00-10.00 am at Santirak School in Phonphisai District, traveling along Mittraparp Rd. and the main district road to Chom Nang Temple.

Reverence to the Buddha’s relics can be made at: International Buddhist Park in Phonphisai District from 01.00 – 03.00 pm

Lantern lighting ceremony at the International Buddhist Park begins at 04.00 pm
