On Sunday April 17th, 2016, some Japanese people traveled to join the ceremony of dedicating merit to the deceased relatives from Kumamoto earthquakes at Japanese Meditation Center, Tokyo, Japan. In addition, they made donations to help the earthquake victims in Kumamoto via Japanese Meditation Center, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Tokyo.
Moreover, the monks and Thai laypeople that live in Japan made donations to help the victims via the municipality of each prefecture as follows:

- Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma made donation at Yoshioka Municipality, Gunma Prefecture
