Hardship and difficulty serve as the very instruments by which our latent abilities are drawn forth and refined. For those who earnestly seek progress and advancement in life — whenever parents or superiors assign tasks that are demanding or difficult — one must never succumb to discouragement, neither refusing such work outright nor accepting it only to return it unfinished. One must clench one’s resolve and press forward. Should any obstacle arise, seek counsel from those who have entrusted the task, and the work shall be brought to successful completion. In so doing, one’s knowledge, capability, and experience shall advance ever onward and upward.
