Meditation in the Garden, London

Mr. Martin invited the teaching monks from Wat Phra Dhammakaya London to receive alms and lead the meditation on Saturday, July 7, 2018.

In the summer, the landscape of England is nice because of the trees.  As the weather is not too cold and not too hot, the British prefer to hang out with their family or friends outside.  Mr. Martin who is a member of the meditation class invited his neighbors to do good deeds by inviting the teaching monks to have lunch and teach meditation to them.

Before they offered the meals to the monks, the teaching monk taught them knowledge of meditation and the benefits if they practiced every day.

Then, the teaching monk led them to meditate for 30 minutes by placing their minds at the center of the body, visualizing a crystal ball and repeating Mantra “Samma Arahang” to still their minds.

After the meditation session, the teaching monk asked about their inner experience. They all said that it was a happy and peaceful time.  Finally, all of them offered the meals to the monks and received the blessings.

All activities on that day impressed the participants very much.
