On 5 April 2026, Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department, Wat Phra Dhammakaya related that Bali Meditation Center (BMC) serves as the center of meditation practice and its meditation course draws attention from many foreigners in Bali.
The meditation course during 1-3 April 2026 was conducted by a teaching monk from Wat Phra Dhammakaya. Most attendees gave positive feedback that the meditation practice helped them attain inner peace, relax and be mindful and free from anxiety. The meditation practice of Dhammakaya style focuses on stilling the mind at the body center with relaxation and consciousness.
Mr. Anthony from Switzerland shared that he felt inner peace and gained more life energy after his meditation practice because he was temporarily isolated from the outside world. He felt amazing for this inner experience. Meanwhile, Mr. Andrew from England was impressed by the teaching monk. The activities of this meditation course included listening to the sermon, meditation practice, walking meditation and lighting the lantern of peace and compassion.
Bali Meditation Center follows the concept “World Peace through Inner Peace” and offers an opportunity for the beginners and the experienced meditators to equally access the meditation practice. In today’s society, filled with uncertainty and stress from living one’s life, meditation becomes an alternative for mental revival and/or the solution one is searching for the life balance.
