On 31 January 2024, Luang Por Dhattajivo presided the ceremony of chanting and meditation in order to give blessing to His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen. Then 1,140 Dhammayatra monks and lay people jointly lighted the lanterns in honor of the Buddha and the Great Master, Phra Mongkolthepmuni at Wat Phra Dhammakaya. In this event, Ms.Apisra Ket-Int, Chief District Officer of Klongluang, together with Mr.Suthep Wongjaeng, Mayor of Tha-Khong Municipality and Dr.Veersak Hadda, Chief Executive of Klongluang Subdistrict Administrative Organization and Chairman of Subdistrict Administration Organization Association of Thailand, was representative of lay people to open the flower tray to pay respect to His Majesty the King in front of his picture.
Venerable Phrakrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, Director of Communication Department, stated that throughout January 2024, 1,140 Dhammayatra monks carried out their pilgrimage routines in order to train themselves as new monks and cooperated with government & private sectors, communities, schools and local residents to organize the following activities:
- Light lanterns in honor of the Buddha.
- Offer necessities to the monks of 268 local temples.
- Offer monk robes to 31 local temples.
- Provide 30 scholarships to local schools and students in order to cultivate tie with the temples in their community among young children according to the principle of Ba-Vorn (Home-Temple-School).
- The campaign for the observation of 5 precepts
The chanting and lantern lighting ceremonies for the blessing to His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen were organized according to the following schedule:

| 26 January 2024 | Wat Paknam (the Great Master’s home base for Dhammakaya meditation technique) Bhasicharoen, Bangkok. |
| 31 January 2024 | Wat Phra Dhammakaya (the place of the worldwide propagation for Dhammakaya meditation technique), Klongluang district, Pathumthani province. |
