The Great Imperial Crystal Ball of Bavaria is a sacred principle crystal ball that was named by the Most Venerable Phrathepyanmahamuni (Luang Por Dhammajayo), the Abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Thailand.
His purpose is to use this sacred crystal ball as a symbol to deliver peace from the east to the heart of the west. The Great Imperial Crystal Ball of Bavaria has travelled for 18,700 kilometers so far, bringing delight and happiness from Thailand to 11 countries where the 24 Dhammakaya branches are located in Europe. This is a great opportunity for us to make a resolution, cover this sacred crystal ball with fine gold leaves, and visualize this shining ball as a meditation object at the center of our bodies.
On this auspicious occasion- the seventh waxing moon of the seventh lunar month and the seven year anniversary of the establishment of the Dhammakaya Meditation Center in Bavaria, Germany- everyone is cordially invited to join the ceremony to mark the monastic boundary, apply fine gold leaves, settle the sacred crystal ball, and to establish the Dhammakaya Meditation Center of Bavaria, Germany on Sunday, May 24th, 2015
For this ceremony, it is a priviledge to have the Most Venerable Phrawisuttiwongsajarn- a committee member of Thai Sangha Supreme Council, the northern rector of monastic community, and the Vice Abbot of Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen to be the Chief Monk of the ceremony.
There are a number of high ranking monks, Abbots from worldwide branches, and venerable monks who will take part in this sacred ceremony and to provide us with the opportunity to make a great sanghadana offering.
