Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma, Japan, arranged the Weekend Meditation retreat for Locals during July 28 – 31, 2016 (3 days and 2 nights). There were 8 meditation sessions and there were 16 Japanese participants.
After the previous program, all trainees understood more about the goals of life and loved meditation, so they were interested to meditate at Japanese Meditation Village again. The teaching monks who introduced how to meditate were Phrakhrupalad Sunet Chalapinyo, Phra Maha Dr. Chattaphong Katapunyo and Phra Somkiat Punyatecho.
All of them joined activities such as Morning Chanting, exercising, offering the morning meals to the monks, having Thai food together, doing meditation, listening to dharma and Evening Chanting.
All participants had good meditation result. They were calm, able to still their minds and got the happiness from meditation. All of them understand the principle of meditation even more and will meditate continuously.
