Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Dhammakaya Foundation and lay people throughout the world provide more than ten thousand relief supply bags to the flood victims in 12 provinces.

The effects of “Dianmu” tropical storm on 23 September 2021 caused the heavy rain, followed by the flood and the flash flood in many areas. The flood victims of 229,220 households had difficulties in their living. There were 7 deaths ( 6 deaths in Lop Buri and 1 death in Phetchabun) and 1 missing person in Phetchabun. Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Dhammakaya Foundation and lay people throughout the world offered relief supply bags to those, suffering from this flood.

Venerable Phrakrusamusanitwong Wuttiwangso, Director of Communication Dept., Wat Phra Dhammakaya mentioned that during 28 September – 13 October, 2021, Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Dhammakaya Foundation and lay people throughout the world provided to flood victims relief supply bags, consisted of ready to eat food, dry food and drinking water by handing them to Morality Promotion Centers in 12 provinces – Nakhon Sawan, Kamphaeng Petch, Lop Buri, Sukhothai, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Khon Kaen, Tak, Sing Buri, Chai Nat and Saraburi.

“The things in relief supply bags are canned fish, crispy fish, canned food, canned fish in chili sauce, pickled mustard,  instant noodle, rice and bottled drinking water which are donated by  lay people at the 71st Anniversary Kitchen Building, Wat Phra Dhammakaya. The total number of donated relief supply bags are 12,300 with the value of over 3.6 million baht.” said Venerable Phrakrusamusanitwong Wuttiwangso.
