On 10 April 2025, Venerable Phramaha Nopporn Punyachayo, assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya related that the basic necessities were donated by the temple itself, Dhammakaya Foundation and their devotees to relieve the living difficulties of earthquake victims in Mandalay, Myanmar. With the complimentary air freight of Myanmar Airways International, 375 kilograms of basic necessities were sent to Myanmar and additional 5 tons of living necessities were delivered through Thai-Myanmar border by a container truck of Queen Products Company. The basic necessities, sent to Myanmar, are medical supplies, sterile dressing sets, ready-to-eat food, instant drinks, clothes, tents, mats, mosquito nets, cleansing products, nylon rope, detergent etc. Besides, the monastic representatives of Wat Phra Dhammakaya also visited Mandalay for the monks’ necessity offering to Myanmar monastic community during 15-18 April 2025.
