Buddhists prayed the Morning Chanting and meditated together for purifying their mind for the coming merit before performing the ceremonies of requesting precepts and offering meal to monks as Sangha Dana. Ms. Orn-uma Lawson and Ms. Halima Thammachak were the presidents of the morning alms round ceremony and they led the others to say the speech of offering meal to the monks as Sangha Dana. Next was the ceremony of making the Buddhist Lent Candles and Phrapalad Chartchai Chakharo, the abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya D.C., led the congregation to make a wish and performed this ceremony to worship the Lord Buddha. The atmosphere was very sacred.
In the afternoon, the hosts and congregation lined up the procession to invite the Buddhist Lent Candles to the ceremonial center. Ms. Uraiwan and Ms Duangjai Krairuek were the presidents to offer the Buddhist Lent Candles. After that they performed the ceremony of offering the monastic bath clothes. Ms. Jitsupa Boonruang and Ms. Sutthida Worawutputthipong were the presidents of this ceremony.
Then, the Dhammadayada Novices performed the ceremony of offering the picked-up robe set to build the temple. They were trained in the Dhammadayada Ordination Program during the last school vacation. After that they gave a sermon and received the certificates from the teaching monks before they disrobed and went back home with their parents. The atmosphere was so good.
