On Saturday 8th August 2015, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Boston organized meditation activity on the World Meditation Day. There were 15 participants of 11 nationalities including Japanese, Brazilian, Columbian, Singaporean, Chinese, Indian etc. The participants ranged from teachers and students, four were from NESE School and two students from Harvard University. On this occasion, Venerable Sanchaya Nakajayo led the meditation practice and the session ended with candle lighting and hand holding for the sign of a beginning of peace and harmony that started from inner peace.
In addition, the event organizers gave souvenirs to everyone in the event. The event was successful with the help of volunteers from Brazil, Japan, Singapore, America and Thai students who helped preparing this event. Everyone was impressed with the program and would like it to happen again, they would surely invite everyone to come to future events.
