Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation support the flood victims in Suphan Buri

On 11 November 2025, at 71st Anniversary Kitchen Building, Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Venerable Phramaha Nopporn Punyachayo, assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, together with Venerable Phrakhrusamu Somchai Watsatheero, representative of Dhammakaya Foundation supported the flood victims in Suphan Buri province by handing 500 relief supply bags to Mr. Anan Phetra, secretary of Gen Y club (a charitable organization) and Ms. Anchalee Sukcharoen, chairman of Saphan Khong community and representatives of Song Phi Nong municipality in order to distribute them to the flood victims.

As the result of heavy rain and increasing rate of water discharge, the overflow from swollen Tha Chin River inundated the areas of Song Phi Nong district, along with additional 4 districts and 29 subdistricts of Suphan Buri, causing damage to agricultural areas. The flood has impact to several thousand households.

The distribution of relief supply bags is a part of public assistance of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation by coordinating with government organizations and Ba-Vorn organization network (Home-Temple-School) to relive the hardship of flood victims in Suphan Buri province.
