Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation offer the monks’ necessities to support the flooded temples.

On 13 September 2024, Most Venerable Somdet Phramahatheerajarn, a board member of the Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand, chairman of the Public Assistance of Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand and abbot of Wat  Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Ratchaworamahawihan, was representative of Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand to receive the monks’ necessities of Bht 100,000 value from Venerable Phravithesdhammaphorn, an assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, chairman of Dhammakaya Foundation and director of Foreign Affairs-Wat Phra Dhammakaya and representatives of Wat Phra Dhammakaya’s monastic community and devotees in order to support the Public Assistance of Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand on helping the flooded temples in the northern and northeastern provinces of Thailand.

In this meeting, Ms.Apisra Ket-In, the district chief of Khlong Luang, also offered to Most Venerable Somdet Phramahatheerajarn rice and dry food, obtained from the almsgiving to 121 monks on occasion of 120th anniversary of Khlong Luang district so as to support the packing of relief supply bags for the flood victims.
