Wat Phra Dhammakaya London arranged a basic meditation class for locals on Tuesday February 6th, 2018.
The English laypeople go to meditate in the temple every Tuesday. The temple added a meditation room for children who follow their parents to the temple. After leading the congregation in meditating, the teaching monk introduced the five Precepts to help clean the body and mind.
They are the tools to determine whether something is right or wrong, good or bad.
If anyone can keep the 5 precepts well, they help their meditation progress with the merits of keeping the precepts.
