
On 23 March 2026, Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department, Wat Phra Dhammakaya stated that the seminar on “The Great Compassion” was arranged on 21 March 2026 at the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion in Victoria, Australia. It was participated by spiritual leaders from across the world, academics and representatives from government sectors with the objective of exchanging concepts of global peace creation.
With 26 years of work experiences with Buddhist organizations in Australia, Venerable Phrakhrubhavanayanvithes, abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Melbourne and secretary of the Union of Thai Sanghas in Oceania, performed duty as Thai Dhammaduta representative. He gave a speech on how to develop “Quality People” with the principles of “The Right View”, the basic virtues and explained on “The Law of Karma” or “The Law of Cause and Effect”. He clarified that all actions have their effects and the ultimate goal of life according to Buddhism is to attain Nirvana, the end of all suffering.
He emphasized that human development should be done through the principles of “The Ten Perfections”, which are the basis to purify the mind and promote compassion. The global peace starts from inner peace. He also invited all attendees to meditate and spread loving kindness to all living beings and to build an international collaboration network to drive the society to sustainable world peace.
