On June 7, 2021, Ven. Phramaha Chit Thanachito (the Ecclesiastical District Head of Thanyaburi), Ven. Phramaha Nopporn Punyachayo (Pali Scholar level 9 and Associate Director of Communication Dept. at Wat Phra Dhammakaya) as the representative of Pathum Thani’s monastic community and their devotees provided 5,600 boxes of freshly cooked food to Mr.Nitichai Wiriyanont, the District Chief of Klong Luang to support the medical workers and COVID-19 patients at the field hospital of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani.
In addition to this, Ven. Phramaha Nopporn Punyachayo and the representative of D Net Technology Co.,Ltd presented to Doctor Sarawut Thanasewi (Director of Thanyaburi Hospital) 8 closed circuit cameras and their equipment at the total value of 45,000 baht in order to support the prevention measures against COVID-19 of Thanyaburi Hospital, Pathum Thani.
“ To assist the government organizations on the prevention and control measures against COVID-19, the ready to eat food has been provided since May 2021. The first period of food support for 5,600 food boxes is during May 10-24, 2021 and the second period of providing another 5,600 food boxes is during May 25 – June 8, 2021. Moreover, Pathum Thani’s monastic community, Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Dhammakaya Foundation and their network organizations provide food support to the field hospital at Chaloem Phra Kiat Queen Sirikit’s 60 Anniversary Stadium“ said Ven.
