The monastic community of Pathum Thani coordinates with Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Dhammakaya Foundation and their devotees to hand over knockdown beds to the field hospital of Bueng-Yee-Tho Town Municipality.

 

On 13 July, 2021, Ven. Phramaha Nopporn Punyachayo  (Pali Scholar level 9 and Associate Director of Communication Dept. of Wat Phra Dhammakaya) mentioned that Pathum Thani’s Monastic community, Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Dhammakaya Foundation and their devotees handed over and assembled 70 knockdown beds for the field hospital of Bueng-Yee-Tho Town Municipality to support the rising numbers of COVID-19 patients with severe symptoms in Pathum Thani. Mr.Kampan Sornboon (Deputy Mayor of Bueng-Yee-Tho Town Municipality), Mr.Pranom Kaewnongsamed (Deputy Mayor of Bueng-Yee-Tho Town Municipality), Mr.Manop Kerddaeng (Municipal Clerk of Bueng-Yee-Tho Town Municipality) and Mr.Rangsan Tangnen (Director of Public Works Division) were representatives to receive this donation.

“Besides this support of 70 knockdown beds, Wat Phra Dhammakaya offered 150 beds to Ar-Chee-Wa Rak Pathum field hospital at Pathum Thani Vocational College and 20 beds to Ruam-Jai-Rak field hospital at Tai Market. Altogether 240 knockdown beds were provided at the total value of 480,000 baht. However, Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation have target to prepare bed metal structure and plywood for 300 knockdown beds in order to support the rising number of COVID-19 patients in many field hospitals of Pathum Thani.” said Phramaha Nopporn
