On 17 August 2025, at Loei Provincial Hall, the enshrinement ceremony of Phra Mongkolthepmuni statue at Kaew Muang Loei Meditation Center was presided by Most Venerable Phrathepvachiradhamphani, assistant ecclesiastical chief of Region 8 and assistant abbot of Wat Traimitr, together with Most Venerable Phrasirirattanamethee, ecclesiastical chief of Loei province and abbot of Wat Pon Chai. Mr. Pairin Limjaroen, deputy governor of Loei province was the laypeople chairman and Mr. Damrong Sorn-Aon, director of Loei Provincial Office of Buddhism reported detailed information of this ceremony.
The procession of Phra Mongkolthepmuni statue started from Loei Provincial Hall to Kud Pong Park for the distance of 3.5 kilometers. This ceremony was attended by monastic community, laypeople and local residents of Loei province.
In the afternoon, Most Venerable Phrathepvachiradhamphani presided over the ceremonies of enshrining Phra Mongkolthepmuni statue and laying holy crystal wheel and precious crystal ball of universal monarch. Venerable Phrakhrusamu Thanin Punyanantho pressed the button for opening the container of metal plates, engraved with donors’ name and stored in the base under Phramongkolthepmuni statue. The donors of this merit making laid their metal plate in the container. Then all attendees made the resolution and paid respect to the Triple Gem.
