On 28 July 2024, at Wat Phra Dhammakaya, the morning ceremony of alms offering and monks’ blessing was organized on occasion of the King’s 72nd birthday anniversary and over 1,000 laypeople of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, government officials and entrepreneurs took part in this event. Most Venerable Phrakruvijit Arphakorn, the Ecclesiastical Chief of Klong Luang district and the abbot of Wat Sawangphop, was the monastic chairman and Ms. Apisara Ket-In, District Chief of Klong Luang, was the laypeople chairman.
For the evening session, Ms. Apisara Ket-In presided over the ceremony of flower tray offering and candle lighting in front of the king’s portrait to express the gratitude to the King on this auspicious occasion. This event was participated by the officials from various government sectors including Klong Luang Subdistrict Administrative Organization, representatives from private sectors and local residents.
