Moreover, the group of laywomen will be supporting power of Buddhism and they will take the role as representatives of Wat Phra Dhammakaya’s devotees to offer Kathina robe to 30,000 temples throughout Thailand on occasion of the 80th anniversary of Luang Por Dhammajayo and support local temples in their residential area.

There are 3 batches of laywomen training program at the Morality Promotion Center in all districts across Thailand (the first batch on 6-8 September, the second batch on 13-15 September and the third batch on 20-22 September). Approximate 30,000 laywomen are expected to join this training program.

“Laywomen are one group of the four Buddhist Communities that strengthens the stability of Buddhism. They observe 8 precepts, follow the Noble Eightfold Path and take the role of powerful supporters for Buddhism like the Buddha’s times. The more there are laywomen, the more Buddhism becomes stable.”said Venerable Phrakhrupaladrattanaveerawat on his speech.
