         Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Associate Organizations arranged the 97th Alms Offering ceremony for helping temples in provinces South of Thailand. Also arranged was the 60th Fund Giving Ceremony to help teachers at Wat Buddhabhum in Yala province.Wat Phra Dhammakaya and Dhammakaya Foundation cooperated with the Single Mind Federation and other Associate Organizations to arrange the Morning Alms Round and the Ceremony of Offering Alms to monks from 323 temples in four unrest Southern provinces at Wat Buddhabhum in Muang district, Yala province on October 31st, 2013. The Most Ven. Phrabhavanavisudhikhun, the Ecclesiastical District Governor of Muang District and Abbot of Wat Buddhabhum, kindly accepted to be the Monastic President in the ceremonies.The Ceremony of Offering Alms to monks from 323 temples in four unrest Southern provinces has been arranged for the past 9 years and this was the 97th time. In the morning, Mr. Sayan Intharaphak, Vice Governor of Yala province, honored to be the President of the Morning Alms offered alms to 109 monks. There were a lot of officials, officers, students and people participating in this ceremony. After that, they performed the Ceremony of Offering Alms to monks from 323 temples and the Ceremony of Dedicating Merit to the dead from the unrest events in four Southern provinces.
On this occasion, Phrakhrupaladpubet Chanapinyo , the Assistant Abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, was the Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni (Dhammajayo Bhikkhu – Abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya)’s representative to give 80 teachers funds who works in the affected areas.
