The 12th DHAMMAYATRA Project retracing the path of significant seven holy sites about the life of the Great Master Phramongkolthepmuni (Sodh Candasaro), the re-discoverer of the Dhammakaya Knowledge, in order to offer the merits to the Lord Buddha and the Teachers
The Holy Journey of the DHAMMAYATRA Project , on the holy locations of the grand master , which will be held from 2 to 31 January 2024, will pass through six provinces: Ayutthaya, Suphan, Phuthong, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi and Bangkok. The journey has received strong support and cooperation from various Buddhist organizations in Thailand, the World Buddhist Organization, various departments of Wat Phra Dhammakaya and more than 20 online organizations.
The purpose of this event is to provide newly monks with an opportunity to practice and become the excellent disciples of the Lord Buddha. At the same time, the laypeople can also accumulate merits by participating in the event, learn to live in harmony and have pure faith toward the virtuous of Bhikkhus.
The main activities of the public is to welcome the Buddhist pilgrimage bhikkhus by scattered the flower petals along the road toward the seven holy places of the Great Master Phramongkolthepmuni (Sodh Candasaro) as follows:

“In addition, in the above mentioned seven holy sites, there were activities such as 1140 monks participating in offer alms ceremonies, lighting lamps to offer homage to the Buddha and teachers, three-day of major alms offering alms to monks ceremonies and supporting 31 temples by offering robes.”
The month-long event not only allowed each participant to accumulate immeasurable merits, purify their actions, speech, and thoughts, but also served as a revival of Buddhist culture, bringing it back into homes, temples, and schools. This has brought the radiance of Buddha’s light to Thailand and enabled its people to live in peace and prosperity.
