On Sunday April 10, 2016 DIMC California arranged meditation session for locals where there were 17 people that came to participate. The participants learned the principles of meditation and received guidance on practicing mindful awareness. After meditation session, the teaching monk answered the participants’ questions, examined their experiences, and advised everyone to continuously practice meditation. From the discussions they had under the topic of “why they like to come here to meditate”, many participates said they liked the place because they found peaceful place. After that they participated in Alms offering which they really enjoyed and they said that they will come back for the next session.
