With the effect of (COVID-19) epidemic, currently in Thailand many temples monks can’t perform their usual Alms receiving routine, and the devotees also can’t go to the temple，listen to Dhamma talk，supporting and perform donations as usual。
Wat Phra Dhammakaya are not excluded too，the temple has about 2,000 over resident bhikkhu Sangha，200 over novices，and about 100 over Upasaka (Monastic layman),700 over Upasika (Monastic laywoman). And about 1,000 volunteers. This is a huge expenditure.
Therefore, during this period, we sincerely invite all great devotees from the world, would gather to perform great donations towards supporting the Supporting Monastery Fund of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Thailand ( in term of offering food to Sangha，Medicine，Epidemic prevention materials，bill of water & Electricity).This is a very special merits, during this difficult times of the temple. The accumulated merits would be inconceivable.
Because we are continuous consuming our merits accumulated in the past. Therefore, we need to continuous perform all kinds of good deeds and merits. This is a must, it just the same as our breathing, can’t afford to stop.
Merits is the source of our life happiness and success, it is very important for our present and future life.
Therefore, we should not stop towards the accumulation of good deeds, in every moments of our life, we are consuming our past accumulated merits. When it depleted, the time of our life is number.
We welcome everyone to be blissfulness with the donations that have been performed. Due to everyone are offering to the ultimate field of merits in the world – Sangha, which everyone should be respect, welcome, offering to, and worship.
Donation is best form of accumulate wealth, and it’s future interest is extremely high. Therefore, the individual’s wealth, it do not depends just by trying to make money, but depends on the blessings of individual. Which we normally called it as “fortune”.
In Buddhism, it is called “Field of Merits”. It just like the farmer sow during springtime, the harvest won’t come until autumn. If we don’t sow during springtime, nothings to be harvest during autumn. Where does one’s fortune come from, not drop from the sky. The blessing come from well cultivating of the “Field of Merits”, with well invest on good field through donations, offerings. It would provide the fortune.
